yesterday, today, tomorrow

yesterday, today, tomorrow

yesterday is gone
today is here
tomorrow, unknown
places and things
feel concrete
but they are temporal;
here long enough
to leave a chalkline of dust
not everlasting
like our souls
longing for connections
with families spanning lifetimes
serendipities and sychronicities
leave us clues
on how to live
and be fully present, for
yesterday is gone
today is here
tomorrow, unknown
